There's a new Atlanta Spring User Group. They've had two meetings so far, and a lot of members right off the bat. "What's Spring?" you ask. It's a Java/J2EE application platform, released under the Apache 2.0 license. You may have hear of some of its parts: Groovy and Grails. They seem to be closely tied to VMWare.

    Day 1 Livestream

As Luke took his first steps into a larger world at the start of his Jedi training he realized he was part of a larger system, the Force. In this installment of SpringOne Tour, we’re going to teach our cloud-native Spring Boot applications how to wield the Force by building on abstractions that know about and incorporate Kubernetes itself.

On day one, join VMware Tanzu team members Josh Long, Mario Gray, Tiffany Jernigan, Dave Turanski, Chris Sterling, Mark Heckler, Nate Schutta, and special guest Joe Beda, co-creator of Kubernetes, for Booternetes II: The YAML Strikes Back.
