In poking around meetup.com, I found the following open source meetups around the Atlanta area: The Atlanta MySQLbPHP Meetup Group, which looks to be a beginner's MySQL/PHP group, The Lawrenceville PHP Meetup Group, with a handful of members, and
The Atlanta MySQL Meetup Group, which has 44 members, but no meetings scheduled. Should they combine with the new PostgreSQL group and form an Atlanta Open Source Database Group? and a fledgling Atlanta Apache Meetup Group , which hasn't gotten off the ground yet. I wish I'd known about them earlier, the Atlanta Unix Users' Group had a good Apache session last year, we could've helped them get going.
