This is the mail from before the weekend:

My name is Cheyenne, president of the local ColdFusion User Group in Atlanta. Over the past few years I have talked with other user group presidents and organizers. We tend to face a lot of the same obstacles in keeping our groups running.

- promoting the meetings, especially to newer and younger audiences
- finding speakers and topics of interest in Atlanta
- getting sponsors and prizes
- knowing what other groups are doing and presenting upon
- securing venues sometimes in other areas of town

With the help of other user group organizers, I am putting together a resource for the various user groups in the Atlanta area.

As you can see I've gone ahead and pre-populated a lot of the site with various user groups and upcoming events to demonstrate the value this site will have for both user group organizers and visitors to the site.  Leaders of various local Flex, PHP, SQL, Agile, FoxPro, InDesign, Unix, Owasp and other user groups have already joined the site.
