			<title>Atlanta Perl Mongers</title>
			<link>http://ossatlanta.org/perl.html</link>
<description>PerlMongers Find new Meeting Place! The trek through the desert is over! Atlanta Perl Mongers has a new venue at Cox Enterprises. We continue to meet on the 4th Thursday of the month. Previous meetings are now listed on the main site at: http://atlanta.pm.org/prior.html (http://atlanta.pm.org/prior.html) To recap: The grandfather of most of the modern open-source scripting languages has to be Perl. PHP was originally just a dialect of Perl. Larry Wall&amp;#39;s post-modern language where there&amp;#39;s always more than one way to do something is the topic of The Atlanta Perl Mongers. (Note: all the camel jokes are due to the O&amp;#39;Reilly series of books on Perl which sport Camels on their covers). </description>

			<title>Atlanta Ruby Users Group</title>
			<link>http://ossatlanta.org/ruby.html</link>
<description>Ruby is a modern language that&amp;#39;s gained traction with its Rails web application development framework. So much so that Ruby on Rails seems to be the de facto way to use this language. Championed by the folks at 37signals, it has a loyal following. They are now meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Centergy Building off Tech Square, details on their meetup page: http://ruby.meetup.com/83/ (http://ruby.meetup.com/83/)</description>

			<title>Joomla Group Changes Names</title>
			<link>http://ossatlanta.org/joomla-name-change.html</link>
<description>The Joomla Southeast group is changing, here&amp;#39;s the scoop:Our Name is Changing to Joomla User Group Atlanta Some of you will be thinking, those guys should have done it a long time ago. Joomla South East is much too broad .... . You&amp;#39;re probably right. Joomla is working towards giving official status to user groups like ours. As part of the registration they asked us to define our area as accurately as possible, so we&amp;#39;ll now be Joomla User Group Atlanta. Look forward to seeing you in Alpharetta on Wednesday evenings! Regards Steve Burge</description>

			<title>Struggling Meetups?</title>
			<link>http://ossatlanta.org/struggling-oss-meetups.html</link>
<description>In poking around meetup.com, I found the following open source meetups around the Atlanta area:The Atlanta MySQLbPHP Meetup Group (http://mysql.meetup.com/222), which looks to be a beginner&amp;#39;s MySQL/PHP group,Atlanta Apache Meetup Group (http://apache.meetup.com/cities/us/ga/atlanta/) , which hasn&amp;#39;t gotten off the ground yet. I wish I&amp;#39;d known about them earlier, the Atlanta Unix Users&amp;#39; Group had a good Apache session last year, we could&amp;#39;ve helped them get going. </description>

			<title>Pragmatic Linux</title>
			<link>http://ossatlanta.org/pragmatic-linux.html</link>
<description> I just noticed this on linux.meetup.com. Looks like they&amp;#39;re trying to get off the ground, but only have a couple of folks showing up. See if you&amp;#39;re interested: The Atlanta Pragmatic Linux Meetup Group Meet other local Linux enthusiasts to talk about the latest news and software. I want to focus more on pragmatic solutions using Linux and engage in civil debate on open source topics. http://linux.meetup.com/423 (http://linux.meetup.com/423) </description>
